How Skin+ Labs collects, uses and looks after the personal information you give us through this site and when you order.
About this policy
This policy covers personal information handled by Giuliano Pty Ltd, trading as Skin+ Labs (ABN 60 075 412 207). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- your name, clinic or business name, email address and phone number
- business details you give us in a trade account application or proof request, such as your ABN, type of business, registration details and website
- order and delivery details, including what you order and your billing and delivery addresses
- label artwork and logos you upload, and your label design choices
- the messages you send through our forms, and emails between you and us
How we collect it
Most of it comes from you, through the forms on this site: contact enquiries, trade account applications, custom formulation enquiries, questions about a formula, and label proof requests.
Card payments are processed by Stripe on its own secure checkout page. Stripe collects your card, billing and delivery details there and passes your order details to us. We never see or store your full card number.
Messages from our forms, and our replies, are sent through our email provider.
Your order in progress and your label studio design, including any logo you upload, are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us until you check out or send a proof request.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- process, deliver and follow up your orders
- prepare label proofs and invoices for white label orders
- reply to your enquiries
- assess trade account applications
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information.
We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site and fill your orders, such as Stripe for payments, our email provider, and Australia Post for delivery, and only as far as they need it. Some of these providers store information outside Australia.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as the law requires.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited and which formulas are added to an order. It uses cookies and does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your browser keeps your order in progress and your label studio design so they are still there when you come back. You can clear them at any time by emptying your order or clearing this site's data in your browser.
Stripe's checkout page may set its own cookies, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Access and correction
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, through our contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, tell us through our contact form and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
